Primary Carcinoma of the Liver

چکیده
and obscure disease. The condition is hardly diagnosed during life. There are no pathognomonic symptoms or physical signs special to the diseased condition. Neither the laboratory investigations nor the x-ray examinations are of any substantial help for the diagnosis in the ?living state. Biopsy of hepatic tissues offers the best chance of diagnosis, but most of the patients are in such a poor general condition that this procedure is of considerable risk. Though the needle biopsies are now less risky yet they have their limitations. Usually the disease is diagnosed by histological examinations of the materials obtained from autopsies.
